In this game i start with a huge forwarding hoplite rush, but i chose a bad position for my forward base and i also messed up BO, so i gave up the rush and went for turtling. Medusas helped me a lot, without them i would have lost to that underworld at my 2nd TC.
Because the 3rd TC were in the map center we only got to them late. I was lucky to be first, and while capturing my third i managed to remove all markets with some infantry.
Afterwards the game turned into a petrobolos fight, which i gave up rather as i had a smaller eco (i guess).
Killing all those petrobolis seemed more reasonable at that part.
My goal was to let my eco rise a bit and then do a huge uw on his second TC. It took me almost 20 mins to prepare for that. The effect on Slammed's eco was huge, and i even managed to down all his other TC-s which started the vill killing.
Very well played Snapple, without my uw it would have been impossible for me to push you back. GG
