Give the forum a new style!

Following several proposals on this subject, I appeal to enthusiasts who would like to make a new design template for the forum.

Case 1 : you keep the current template and images sizes and just draw new pics, choose new colors... (mind to keep text and buttons on the header pic)

Case 2 : you can use another database, such as these skins (ready to use) http://en.hitskin.com/search-a-skin-0.htm
and customize them.

Once your template finished, we'll try it for example during 1 week and make a poll to select the best template.
Or maybe use different templates alternatively.

nice idea rage...i will surely give it a try whenever i got time.btw the idea of using different templates alternatively is great.It will keep freshness in the forum design.

any phpbb3 skin works?

No, unfortunately, only phpbb2 skins... and rather those available here http://en.hitskin.com/search-a-skin-0.htm

Yeah it's old but was the most stable when we've created the forum.

Nevertheless, it's possible to switch the forum to phpbb3, punbb or invision.
And the skin has to come from hitskin.com (huge choice). Then, we can tweak pics and colors, as it's done here with the basic phpbb2 subsilver skin.

On our private forum we could apply multiple ones, and users can pick their own favorite freely.
Currently we have build 3.0.8, using co.cc
Could you do something similar?

Of course,
for the moment, only 1 skin has been made, that's why you have no choice for selecting another.

But if someone builds another skin, e.g.: "Isis" skin or Zeus or any one... then each player will be able to choose the skin he wants. And we'll probably set alternatively each skin as default template for guests and people using the default template.
