Hey guys, so i dunno how many of you know.... but i'm a HUGE metal head
I always like to hear about different bands so i can check them out!!!
So if you have a killer metal band you'd like to share, share it!!!

So i'm a pretty big thrash metal fan..... and a few weeks ago i was at a pretty awesome show (evergrey, powerglove and sabaton!) where i saw a flyer for an upcoming show that Lazarus AD was playing. So i thought i'd check them out cuz the name sounded badass haha.... and apparently they're a new band that has this old school thrash thing going on.... and so far its pretty awesome!!!!

The only metal band I know of is Linkin Park.. But I don't know if they are Rock or Metal

Avantasia, Nightwish, Sonata Arctica are the metal bands i like.
I would have mentioned a lot more before, but i kinda swapped to epic score in terms of style.

ammm Rainbow, Deep P., Neil Young, Zeppelin, Mothorhead, The Mars Volta, Pantera,.....etc xD I prefer the Rock&Roll

i also think what would push them over the top, would be to take their solo work to the next level ^^

metal is just alot of noise

A lot of modern genres don't include instruments or human voice whatsoever.
Like most electronic music for ex. That, by definition wouldn't be music at all, while metal has both elements.

today iced earth's new album 'dystopia' came out, so for the next week or so i will be listening 100% to that hahaha. but after that i want to check out the mars volta

Check out metallica,LB,deftones, mudvayne. But they are old.
LP mostly does alternative rock songs.

yeh.... So i read something the other day that changed my opinion of them slightly. at first i thought it was lars that kinda fucked them up after ...and justice for all....
but i read that their record company brought in some fucker named 'mike curtis' i think.... and he started pretty much telling them what to write and fucking them up!!!!! stupid fag.... so ya they let him do it.... so ya imo they sold out. they could have told him to fuck off, that they're gonna write their own music.... but noooooo they had to be gay......
w/e... i still like em.... but thats pussy right there
