RTG gave me an excell file containing all AOMTT units and, for each, the following details :

ICON = the picture of the unit
NAME = the name of the unit
COST = the food, wood, gold, and favor price of the unit
AGE = first age in which you are allowed to create unit: archaic, classical, heroic or mythic
HP = hit points for the unit
SP = the velocity of the unit
POP = how much the unit counts towards population cap
RNG = the range of a unit's attack
CA = percentage of crush damage deflected
HA = percentage of hack damage deflected
PA = percentage of pierce damage deflected
TP = train points; the seconds it takes to train this unit
ATTK = pierce, hack, or crush damage / second (generally 80% accuracy for ranged units)
LOS = the line of sight for the unit


It's very usefull, and you can learn the english name of units Smile

Here you have a fight comparator (only AOM civ : greek, eggy & norse)... very usefull^^

hmm, i think that both these files are already in that thread neotron made called "Not Strategy but many small but important tips for improving gameplay"

the fight simulator is nice, except that it is only for aom =(
and there are some minor changes such as egyptian axemen's bonus vs infantry is 400% in aom and 300% in aom:tt
looking at the fight logs, it is really interesting to see how the range unit damage is calculated

both files are a great help to anybody, thanks

something is wrong... i tried to open the first file with notepad++ but all i see is loads of NULLs and various special characters. what am i doing wrong ?

the links that NUB posted have relatively small excel viewers.
just get the 2003 version, it is new enough to see this file

exactly, you dont need microsft excel to view. just install excel viewer 2003 and you'll be able to watch
