game reviewer

hellos guys.
Lately i was thinking of how about we have a 'ame reviewer kinda part i our forum so that peoples can post there games and some better players can review those games and tell their mistakes and how to improve....

i guess this will be very benificial for all of us.... Plus it can help increase the decreasing amount of forum activity ...some other top forums already have it .and i Personally i think it will be very benifical for all new players .

BTW i consider myself as an 'OK' player so i guess i'll also take part in reviewing the games...

I don't know what you mean by "reviewing".

Isn't it what is ever done in "recorded games" section?

No it isnt done there. nobody reviews any game. just say gg. nobody tells any mistakes or how to improve... anyway records section is like 'posting the game u won ' but review section is diferent . like u post ur recs to ask others how to improve....

Ok, it could be a great idea!! but some rules to avoid records flooding (just post the best, or worst ones)

But it will require available reviewers... 2 is not enough. Try first to find people and then we'll open it, no problem.

Ill review too. I may not know how to rush(I go FM with loki ) . But i am good when it comes to booming part

guys im searching to get u cd keys so u can join eso with all rest of us im trying to start a program on aots so i can gather cd keys for all of u.

hey, thats a great Idea! But then there will be less players in GR, . But if it is only for improving our skills, then its a really great idea! Lets hope u get enuf Cd-keys .

Because in recorded games category, we've already comments about games... what would be different?

1 guy giving a brief summary of the game
and then giving pointers

I've been a game reviewer at gamereplays.org for a short while
they used a game reviewer template

Ya basic idea is just what mirej said but i'll explain the things and format that i have in mind. but not today . tommorrow , i mean today morning ( as it's already 1:40 am here) i have my first job exam and interview.so currently iam busy preparing for it. after returning from there i'll type it all...

Gamereplays is a really beautifull website. Their game replay script is perfect.

Unfortunately, I won't be able to make such a script here because it's a free website and I can't add database table, neither .php files.

So, what we can do is to use their game replay format (as mirez has suggested)

We could have 1 category with a first topic to submit the games.
Then, reviewers would pick out the oldest game and comment it. (so, they would have to create the topic of the reviewed game)

The only thing we can do would be to make a script in which reviewers would just have to fill in some field (like improvements, quick description, link of the game, players, ...) and the script would give them the "formated" message to post


All other suggestions are welcome!!

in my opinion we could have 1 category where the players could submit their recorded games and than another category were these recorded games are reviewed eg likeness of strategy, weaknesses,improvement and etc

first question
what happen to the idea of having more games added to this forum like we can have sub-category for that (i mean seriously didnt we get bored sometime with AOM . i know its great ,great game but still sometime we get bore)
second question
what happen to the idea of tracking ,statistics
the ranking idea where it is ?!
we are taking about it but not doing anything to apply it

plz give us final list of gamereviewers who will review recorded games

how about the game reviewers would just randomly select like 3 recorded games and review them, giving a small summary at the start and then some pointers

But why 3 games? just review what you want and what you can (depends on your free time).

yeah 3 was just an example, if you make to many people will lose interest in them
