1st AOMT Tournament on gameranger .

Hello

Those are the rules :

I. A player needs 2 wins out of 3 games to advance , between 2 participants if the score would be 2-0 , the 3rd game won't be played

II. If the game crashes in the first 5 minutes it will be replayed , if it happens again the opponent will win that game ( means 1 win out of 3 ). If it crashes after 5 minutes in the first time, the opponent again wins the game .

III. The playing period is 3 days from the creation of your match topic ("3 days" includes fixing date+hour of meeting, playing match and posting results+replays).

IV. One new topic will be created for each match in every round, by one of the oposing players . Example: benimussus vs mz_hades , i will open a topic with the name: "16th-final : benimussus vs mz_hades".
In this topic, you have to fix the date + hour of the match (included in the playing period). This date cannot be modified once fixed, exept if the 2 parts agree.

V. If a player is not here at the fixed time, he looses the game and the present player has 20 minutes to post on his topic that he was here.

VI. Replays will be posted in the same match topic , by the winner of the game ( if the score will be 2-1 , the game in which the eliminated player won , will be posted by him .The other 2 will be posted by the winner of the other 2 games )

VII. No argues between players , no matter what !!! (if you are not satisfied with something , ask here )

VIII. Nick names have to be the same , with the registered ones (using fakes will bring a ban!).

IX. No observers allowed, cuz they can make the game freeze/lag/crash (replays are here if you wanna see the game) !


The tournament will start saturday on 8th of august .Until then i will return with more rules and the pairings (randomly generated).
If something is not clear , or you have different opinion ... i'm listening .

Can i observe only the finals? Please.

Can you make the tournatment on august 15th?
Cause its independence day for india and we all have holiday.

Maybe in the final observers will be allowed , i will consult with rage .

Why are spectators not allowed? Only 1 reason for me others players which have slow connection can lags game but when players join with green ping it will be ok no?

To Pruthvi: you are 15 years old you dont have summer holidays?

We have summer holidays in april may and june
and its over already

The map everyone will play in the round of 16 will be watering holes !

Is there something speacial in watering holes?

I've chosen the maps in order to have the same handicap for all the players.

So each round has its own map. youy can now access the tournament trees from the header.

Because of many latecomers, the round 2 will be delayed to sunday or monday.

We are thinking about news rules to avoid such disruption for the future tournaments (maybe disqualification...)
