| This time, make your own guide for a change. Watch the recs of age sanctuary and write a guide. It would be more helpful that way. | |

Yes ofcourse it is possible. Many Egyptian players also try to CF, especially Ra as it does not get Eclipse, & Ancestors are not so good without Eclipse GP.

| You can do it unless you are against egyptian. In that case make scarabs and invoke eclipse and take them down. | |

| Well cf vs egyptians means you will have to depend on micro a lot. Since you already complain a lot vs egyptian heroic, it would be nice if you go heroic too. Also if you are spamming priests go through ptha and upgrade shaduf . | |

| yeah siege towers are annoying, spearman do a good job at taking them out but they get owned by chariots
so you need to micro your slings on his chariots (because they will automatically attack the closest target a.k.a. the siege tower)

| As ra, I'd go for heavy heroic raiding. Do something like this : Get your existing wadjets into your roc, and your 1st petsuchsus aswell. You can do serious damage, if you micro well, especially vs norse. A bolt can be painful though. While this you can go mythic easily, how about invoking a tornado on the enemy forward base or eco base? While this(in heroic) you can of course have camels raiding the gold locations. Enemy attacks are unlikely with so much going on. | |

| If you are vs greeks or vs norse, its better to go through osiris as firegaints and greeks myth units have high pierce armour. Go horus if you need a GP to defend or destroy its titan gate (Never works vs gaia or oranos because of tree) or if your opponent is still classical at this time horus is much effective. Ofcourse Avengers can kill collosus and firegaitns but still they die off easily. True Ra raiding is very important. Use roc+wadjet+croc and invoke locust and raid him. The only problem you will face is building the midgol cause you are defenseless. Your opponent will not let you build midgol outside your base. So you will have to build it in your base thereby you won't have much defense in your second gold mine. So you are very much prone to raids. I would suggest going to much early trade. Because of rain you would be having huge amounts of food and you can easily start trading early. In maps such as alfheim rocs are awesome for getting the crocs up the terrian on the mountains where normal units cannot reach and archers don't have that much range.Getting early trade and laming are very important when playing ra. | |

| @ Vegito : Ranged units on cliffs also get a major bonus dmg, very effective if you use catapults, but while a battle you could get your priests up there, or another scenario is where you place chariots on a cliff where they reach caravans. They won't need to be microed, and it's almost impossible to counter early enough. @ Mirez: Horus is risky, but if you raid heavily, and we can safely assume that this Ra-raiding can't be countered too well, the enemy will have a relatively poor eco. A tornado might give you the leading edge, as it destroys any not upgraded building. How fast can one do a mythic advance when you only protect your base until you're heroic, then single or dual midgol? I think it'd hurt nearly as much as ragnarok. | |

| Ra is barely a raiding god in the first place, all you need to do is sit back and boom. Tornado is unreliable and not that good unless you manage to take down a tt gate with it. I'd prefer SoO over tornado 99% of the time. | |

| Tell me one thing. If you can raid AND boom, why not do it? I agree on the tornado thing, but i'm always afraid of looing SoO to a bolt, if there is a zeus. Mummies die to bellero in no time too. | |
