| If you straight fh every game, yes isis is boring. However isis can do anubite raiding as well. Not to mention hator and osiris. | |

| also if you are doing isis fh every game I figure you will get really good at it since its always the same strat as opposed to a god like thor who has a variety of strats to go against certain gods. To make it simple the time spent into playing is focused on one strats instead of spending a lot of time being decent at all the strats your god can do. | |

| I think the perfect choise would be Zeus. Perfect advantage for infantry against buildings, scylla in heroic if needed, Myrmidons in mythic and so on, + good favor gaining. About isis... if you are very good with isis and you switch to another god - it would be easier to get warmed up bcos u already learned to "feel" fh and defending rushes. | |

| I would pick norse, especially Loki. It's hersir raiding is superb, as well as other tactics | |

| loki barely has other tactics, rush vs norse/atties hersir raid vs greek/eggy
Of course there's also the fast mythic but thats a gimmick strategy really

| Hmm ok well here is another question. Which god do you guys think can take out buildings the easiest? This is my problem with thor if they throw up mass towers or castles I cant really do anything. Battle boars have crush damage but its not that much and I think rams are one of the weakest seige because they can die so easy and its hard to get siege to the towers when they have a fat army hiding behind them. | |

Correct me if im wrong, but a BB has 20 crush, thats only 5 less than a mountain giant, and of course minus his special. 20 crush is plenty to take out a building i think..

| Gire sifons (or whatever they are called) aren't weak, they just have poor range. Destroyers are pretty awesome, they don't die to villagers.
However atties best anti-building weapon is theia contarius. With the stonce lance upgrade they deal mad damage. They are often used as wonder killer in lategame.

Yeah man I seen this epic match atty vs eggy where they were both built wonders. The eggy player did a roc drop with like 20 catapults and took out the atty wonder. Then when I thought the atty player had no chance with a min left he ran up with a big group of contarius' and plowed the eggy wonder. It was crazy. And the destroyers are awesome because the villys can't kill them. Against any close range siege its so easy to pop villys to the tc then pop them out where the siege is and knock them out quick. - Quote :

Especially vs an eggy player because you're not really fighting army until heroic so you have no favor. I can get like 2 out but with ranged heroes hiding behind a stronghold it's hard man.

| well I don't know how they do vs myth but they do wonders vs buildings. Just because it's unbalanced doesn't mean it can't be fun. | |

But thats where you are wrong, if you hersir raid you should have enough favor for at least 3 more battle boars. If you play loki you might even spawn a few extra. Battle boars are a major pain in the ass for eggy players because they have 60% pierce armor making them very effective. If you have 4 of them he will need a lot of priests to stop them. And even if he does, you can just run away with them (since they are quite fast) and start tc raiding. Here's a good example https://aom-gr.forumotion.com/recorded-games-f6/set-vs-loki-on-anatolia-t936.htm
