| well i suggested this keeping in mind tht u r new...with less villagers u will require shifting, and shifting will b lil tough for u as u r new...and 4:30 advance is gud in 1vs1...bt this build order i mentioned i guess is gud for team games....it requires time to get excell in any rush...so i still suggest practice from easy level thn hard.. ...

| Icestar, what you are doing is effectively spamming. Unless your going to say anything meaningful in your posts, dont post. It is of no significance to anyone when you post things like "+1" or "lol" Say something relevant. | |

| The best way to get better is to only play 1v1. One of the best on eso told me that and its true. Like you said, in group games you end up relying on your partner to save you which is not a good way to progress. After you get better you can play team games sure. | |

| 1v1 is usually alot easier.
In a 2v2 or 3v3 you sometimes have much harder fights and you sometimes have to fight 2 or more people at the same time. Can get double rushed, or maybe even a normal Loki rush can take you by suprise because you have no idea what god you are fighting.
Scouting, map control, gold starving, fighting is alot easier in 1v1.

Scouting, map control, gold starving, fighting is alot easier in 1v1. But thats the point. If you are constantly getting 2v1'd or not attacked at all, you arent learning to key elements of fighting in team games. Getting 2v1'd means u die too fast before you do anything. First you have to get better in a fair environment, then worry about team games later.

| No, its just that the strategy itself isnt that great. Hoplites are bad at raiding. They are usually just good fighters and classical siege. Usually you would want to go for cavalry and just keep killing villagers whilst saving yours, getting upgrades, getting heroic and pretty much just outgrowing your opponent and THEN finishing them off. Being noob has nothing to do with it. By the way i wouldnt call you noob. Considering you only started aom recently, from what I saw in that rec you did a VERY decent job. Keep at it. | |

| lol just make sure that confidence doesnt become cockiness. Meh Yony is ok but im better than him. I've beaten him quite a few times. Though i dont know now, im rather rusty. But yeah, hoplite rush is not that great. Its ok on the lower level because after losing TC and some villagers most people tend to give up. But if the person just attacks your hoplites with half their army and raids your villagers with the other then your hoplites will die fast, so will your economy and for what, a TC and a few Barracks/longhouse etc. Buildings arent that expensive. You have to consider what it means to raid. Raiding does a lot more damage in terms of his resources. If as soon as you up, you start harrassing his gold, he wont even be able to make an army. No army, no defences, you can just keep growing your base without the fear of attack because hes too busy trying to fend you off and its not working because he cant make any units. | |
