k i watched it. I will be honest with you: i am going to speak quite blunt, as i have no respect for aot loki players. So do not take offense to this post, hopefully u will take it and use it to improve your gameplay.

the only reason why you stayed alive as long as you did is because of loki's myth units. If you played thor or odin you'd have been dead before u got heroic.
Earlier in the game, you were playing sloppy. like having your ulfsark build the house right by ur dock against zeus, who will obviously be coming to bolt something. Run him back to ur base and build your house there. I know building a 2nd ulfsark early on messes with your build on water, but still.... evenso i think you can improve your archaic build order on this map a lot. Then your hunters were just dying freely since they were right in front of his base..... move those suckers.... Also when he killed your first dock with that huge army and ALL of your wood was a few paces away..... u kept it there without moving it, and therefore lost almost all of your wood villagers. (not to mention afterwards not even putting them back on wood so as you were upping to heroic, u had no wood income). This was luckily not a problem since he wasn't playing smart, but you didnt secure your 2nd gold mine. if he were a smart player he'd have gold starved you pretty easy, especially having lost all your wood shortly before.
Aside from all of this, as you got heroic and used flaming weapons, you were doing well compared to him and could have put yourself in a position to finish the game with a victory. But you didn't building spam, u didn't spend your resources on anything (except mythic, which arguably did not help you and was not worth it), you didn't expand your population as you should have and did a pretty bad job with macro'ing your economy; which resulted in a loss since loki's imba mu spam can only keep you alive so long amidst so many mistakes.

so what should you have done different?
-well improve your archaic build order. i wont give you an exact build, since each map is different with the amount of fish/available food etc, but go to rts-sanctuary, see if magyar played a game as loki on midgard and STUDY his build order. do not copy it since every midgard map is different. STUDY it so you know why/where/what/when etc.
-Good job trying to pressure land early, but you need more buildings to produce units. He simply outproduced you when you were battling up front (when ur hunters were dying). You had 1 longhouse and 1 temple.... thats not enough to keep a significant military population.
-SECURE a 2nd gold mine. How do you do this? building spam/tower/wall etc. Yes, your army was sitting there for a bit, which gave your gold mild protection.... but that meant that you were not pressuring him. his economy was untouched so he could freely do whatever he wanted to.
-btw while i'm thinking about it, you completely wasted spy. of course as loki you're going to have massed mu so you're going to want to kill his heros asap..... so that was a complete waste since his hero died.... you should have been pressuring his economy while he was fucking around with your docks, and used it on a group of villagers so you could continue to put pressure on him. *the best defense is a good offense*.
-I already mentioned the issue with your wood villagers...... Move those bastards lol. *this is probably a good time to mention something very important: SPREAD YOUR ECO OUT. Later in the game you had almost 30 dwarves on 1 gold mine with 1 ox cart.... so when that mine runs out... so does your gold income until you can find another mine. (btw, you were extremely lucky this game with the fruitfulness of the map.... there were a lot of available mines). so spread out your gold to 2-3 mines, your wood cutters to 2 different spots, if not 3 eventually, etc. Besides, if there are less villagers PER ox cart, there is less bumping of the villagers which gives you more resources faster since the villagers/dwarves aren't stopping/starting as thy're trying to drop off their resource load.
-I already mentioned building spam. After you took that tc, you should have spammed buildings of all sorts to assist you in replacing your army that was not micro'd well so died quickly. Instead you went mythic, why? Nidhogg? Yes that might have been a good idea against a norse player since nidhogg owns norse, but nidhogg did not help you NEAR as much as using up your resources on tc's+buildings+upgrades etc.etc. etc. Your human units were weaksauce so they died really quickly. As i said before, you are lucky that you had so many myth units to save your ass and prolong your death.

General things: focus on micro. You use autoque so its not like you're having to spend time/actions creating units and such, so you should have ample time to control your army well and maximize it's effectiveness. You let WAY too many of your myth units die by being attacked by his few heros. They were getting free hits and free kills (which is even worse) on your myth units...... thats not acceptable dude.

-macro/spending resources: you need to spend your resources on upgrades and shit FASTER! part of a strong macro is getting upgrades and such when you can afford them to improve your resource income, which will allow you to get even MORE upgrades/units etc. Autoqueing a million dwarves to gold is not macro, thats ridiculous, thats what it is. balance your economy and expand it by spending your resources on tc's-->population room for more vills which gives you more resources which allows you to spend them on more upgrades which gives you even MORE resources as well as makes your army stronger which makes them survive longer which means u dont have to spend resources on spamming more units which means you'll be able to afford other upgrades that will make them stronger or improve your resource income, or eventually age up.


most importantly: REWATCH THIS GAME from your point of view, as well as your opponent's point of view. You will hopefully begin to see my tips and see how they coulda/woulda/shoulda effected the game. Also you will see specific examples of things you did well and should keep doing, or things you did not do well and should change/improve.

after you build the dock dont build the house imediately, you can save that wood for building an extra ship and save your ulfsark....and get a town center as soon as you can

cool thx i wanna ask something, is it worth trying to learn odin since he is like one of the weakest gods and shit lol

good bo for this kind of map would be:
1 ulsfark by pressing h+u instead of the h+v
first 2 to wood w/o ox ( to near tc trees)
5 to food with the first ox
then another 4-5 to wood
some dwarves idk
more to food till adv
then adv// u switch some 5 or 6 to wood and some others to gold to have like 5-6 (gold)
then go full warships and wall XD

well, of course on aot odin is pretty weak compared to zeus and such.
but honestly, to beat the majority of the gameranger community, it doesn't matter what god you choose, you simply need to develop proper game mechanics (booming and such).

so ya i think u should learn odin cause he's WAY fun to play (at least i think he is ).
and when u win u can make fun of the stupid orawhores and isisnoobs that can't beat u despite their huge god imba haha. odin takes a particular playstyle tho that u gotta get used to so it takes some practice and a pair of balls! haha

about the build order, i think that for midgard and anatolia, norse can be quite flexible in what they do and REALLY maximize their capabilities. so i guess dont follow a build order 100% on these maps, especially since an exact advance time is not crucial. Just aim to get all the fishers (on midgard i do not think it's worth it to get a 2nd ulfsark out so early. i usually get a 2nd one out just as i'm building my temple, but honestly you can be spamming enough ships from your first dock that u wont need a 2nd one til a few minutes in, and your original ulfsark can handle that .) so ya loki can actually be pretty dam strong on water 11, the cheaper ox carts make a surprising impact!!
